Privacy Policy & Singapore PDPA Statement
SwitchScribe Pte. Ltd. is committed to protecting your personal data in strict compliance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (No. 26 of 2012) ("PDPA").
1. Consent and Purpose Limitation
We only collect, use, and disclose personal data for purposes that an individual would consider appropriate in the circumstances and for which the individual has given consent. Specifically, we collect:
- Account Data: Name, email address, password hash, and billing history for user authentication and subscription management.
- Audio & Video Data: Customer-uploaded media files uploaded solely for speech-to-text processing, speaker diarization, and enrichment selected by you via the Switchboard.
- Payment Data: Handled securely by Stripe Singapore. We do not store full credit card or bank credentials on our servers.
2. No Training on Customer Data
Strict Zero-Training Policy
We explicitly contract with all third-party model providers (Deepgram, AssemblyAI, Anthropic, OpenAI) to ensure that no user audio recordings, transcripts, summaries, or metadata are ever used to train or fine-tune public or private foundation AI models.
3. Disclosure to Third-Party Data Intermediaries
To deliver our Switchboard capabilities, we act as a data controller and engage vetted data intermediaries:

4. Retention Limitation & Right to Erasure
Under Section 25 of the PDPA, we cease retention of personal data as soon as the purpose for which that personal data was collected is no longer served by retention.
SwitchScribe provides built-in tools for user data governance:
- Automated Media Retention: Set your account to automatically purge audio/video recordings after 7, 30, or 90 days.
- One-Click Permanent Erasure: Users can invoke their right to erasure at any time via Account Settings, permanently deleting all transcripts, storage objects, and ledger entries.
